Matt Strong, President C1S Group, joins us on the Art of Construction to share how his company brings ECS - Engineering, Construction and Sustainability to their projects.
Their areas of expertise in design and construction include critical environments such as semiconductor, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, defense and industrial facilities. C1S excels in designing and installing projects safely, timely and without interruption to business operations.
Matt Strong has more than twenty four years of experience in the design and installation of mechanical and electrical systems. He has completed projects in a wide cross section of industries including residential, religious, educational, commercial, industrial, healthcare, pharmaceutical, and semiconductor. His design project experience includes programming, conceptual design, design development, construction documents, procurement, construction administration, construction management, start-up and commissioning. Strong’s project experience includes work on facilities for major companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Frito Lay, Raytheon Systems, and Pepsico. Strong earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas in Austin and received a Master of Business Administration degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. Strong is a Licensed Professional Engineer in Texas and has National Registration as a Mechanical Engineer. He is also registered in California, New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona, North Carolina and South Carolina, and he is a LEED NCv2.0 & EBv2.0 Accredited Professional with the US Green Building Council.
